 contemplativeThe other day I read a link from my friend's Lj that was so astute and so excellently written concerning the present political crisis in this country, yet only one person had commented. Sometimes I read the latest posts link over at Dj, and some of the people will be having a major crisis in their lives, yet not one comment will be posted. Have these people no friends? Or are people on social networking sites such as Dj and Lj just there for their own vanity and ego? Do people not want feedback? Or do they get it from other sources? Why journal it then in public? Personally I don't understand it either. I read what you say, I agree, and can only think to myself "What is everyone so afraid of?" Because that's what I see when I see all these entries going untouched, yet an abundance of people. It's very cold. Very ego-centric, even. I don't know. I just don't understand people, honestly. | ||

| Well, it's like us. We dun always comment every time. But we say something often enough that there is a connection, but like today, I waded onto melo, and the system there is really geared for conversation--even if it isn't on your post exactly [I just canny navigate it anymore without waiting interminably for the site to move--I'd give a LOT to know how this thwarting of my log in was accomplished.] That's all that kinda matters unless your post is really personal and it would be rude to shine it on. Oh well, just like in real life I guess. People are just preoccupied and dun think about or care how other feel. :-p | ||
